FrogWatch now hosted by AZA

From the new coordinator of the Frogwatch program:

Dear FrogWatcher,

I hope that you are gearing up for the 2009 FrogWatch ing season and want to take this opportunity to thank you for your past participation in FrogWatch USA, where you, as a Citizen Scientist, have provided important data for the conservation of frogs and toads throughout the United States. We hope that you plan to continue participating in FrogWatch USA in 2009 and into the future.

FrogWatch USA is now hosted at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the accrediting entity for 216 top zoos and aquariums. AZA accredited zoos and aquariums are each dedicated to providing excellent care for animals, a great experience for visitors, and a better future for all living things. Please learn more about AZA or find an AZA zoo or aquarium in your area at www.aza.org.

In 2009, FrogWatch USA will continue functioning just as it has in years past and the information that you collect will continue to be used to inform biologists, naturalists, and land managers for the benefit of all amphibians. The instructions for reporting your data, the training materials, and the Web site (www.frogwatch.org) will feel very familiar.

You have been added to this listserv because of your past participation and/or interest in the FrogWatch USA program. Please contact me with any questions you have.

Best,
Shelly
